From Jenny: I have great belief in creating change and that people need help and support to achieve the desired changes they strive for. We are not alone, however it often feel that we are, and reaching out for help can be incredibly difficult. I aim to provide a safe haven where collaboratively we explore and assist you to get to know yourself and to understand your experiences and emotions in a more helpful way so that positive change can occur. My base approach is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and its founding principles, theory and the immense research which backs it up makes sense in a logical way. In every day life and with all the relationships in my world knowing and living by EFT principles and values has made a huge difference to my way of being in this world. I sincerely believe EFT is a successful approach to creating loving relationships and understanding relationships in a different and more helpful manner, and I have great privilege and pride to be able to walk alongside couples in their journey to greater closeness and safe emotional connection.

I work with individuals, couples, youth and families. I have specific experience with at-risk youth and families who are in crisis, along with relationship counselling for couples, where I primarily use EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy).
I work with a range of issues, which include but is not exclusive to:

  • Relationships
  • Parenting
  • Step-parenting
  • Communication
  • Supervision
  • Intimacy and Sex Therapy
  • Blended Family Relationships
  • Alcohol & Drug Addiction Counselling
  • Stress Management / Relaxation
  • Sexual Abuse Counselling
    • Anxiety & Depression
    • Domestic Violence
  • Grief & Loss
  • I have a firm belief that people can change, that couples can learn to love again, that youth can be supported to make healthy choices through turbulent times and that families can find a way forward to where they feel secure, connected and loved within their family. I am dedicated to my counselling, to offering support, and to working collaboratively to find strategies and solutions for dealing with issues that have become overwhelming for people.
